// About CHSR

The Chapel Hill Sports Report started on 15 August 2008 (Douglas County scrimmage) as just one sports photographer’s crazy idea – to give the players, coaches and fans something to read about and more game pictures to view than any other media outlet in the Atlanta-metro area.

Little did we know at the time how great a football season the Panthers were going to have. Nor did we know how big the Chapel Hill Sports Report was going to be for the parents, players, coaches and the Douglas County community at-large.

As the Panther season steam-rolled along, the CHSR gained a following as well.

By the end of football season, the CHSR website recorded nearly 7,000 pageloads from over 5,000 unique visitors. That’s incredible considering the Panther football season was 12 weeks long! Thanks to you, many of those visitors were your own extended family and friends from as far away as California and as far north as New York.

During the Winter and Spring sports seasons, the CHSR website become somewhat cumbersome to keep up with.  Now, with this new site, it will be easier to update and will allow the participation of the you the fans in the discussion of everything that is Chapel Hill athletics.

I may run the site, but the site is for all of YOU!!!!

Thanks for your continued support of the Chapel Hill Sports Report. I would also like to extend a special word of ‘Thanks’ to the administration and coaching staff of Chapel Hill for allowing me to be a part of the 2008-2009 athletic season.

Good luck to the Class of 2008 as you move on with your lives. Best of luck Class of 2009 as you embark on your final year at CHHS.

Regards,

TLH
